Martin Ernstsen

Martin Ernstsen (b. 1982) is educated in illustration in the UK, and has a master degree in storytelling at Konstfack in aptekaleki24.com Stockholm. His debut was the surrealistic comic book Nissefugl in 2007. Two issues of Ugler (Owls) followed, where he excellently portrayed a young lesbian girl and her search for friendship, love and a meaning in her life.

In 2009 Fugløya was published. The book was his most ambitious story so far and is a psychological thriller about two men working on a lighthouse far north in Norway.

He has also made several fanzines.
