For the festival we have made a French language anthology, Blekk – bande dessiné norvègienne, together with the Norwegian Embassy in Paris. Among others you will find contributions by Tor Ærlig, Andrew Page, Lene Ask, Rui Tenreiro, Jason, Martin Ernstsen and Bendik Kaltenborn.

Kodok’s run

Martin Erntsen’s new book leads the reader in to a universe filled by strange characters and dreamlike landscapes. The story of the messenger, Kodok, is told in an untraditional and dynamic way, and is visually the most fulfilled graphical work from Martin Ernstsen so far. The book has full English translation of the limited text on the bottom of every page. Order it from the shop.

Den krokete kniv review in Giant Robot

Giant Robot has a nice little review in their June issue: “Max Estes draws comics that are “normal” but also utilizes the other end of his mind and makes super arty, European work that we don’t see enough of. Each frame of this wordless heist story looks like it could be a nice print, and I hope Estes has more works coming soon.”
